Brief insight into your Tae Kwon Do:

I started Taekwondo in 2007 when I would describe myself as a shy and introverted 7 year old. Over the years, training with Master Carter and the rest of the P4TKD team has helped me to develop tremendously in self confidence and physical fitness. Not only this, but Taekwondo has helped me to stay focused on all of the other important aspects of my life such as studying. I did my first competition as a 1st Degree Black Belt in 2012 and I have not looked back. Since 2012, I have achieved national and international titles. I have been a member of the TAGB National Team since 2015. With the squad, I have travelled to many countries including Italy, Poland, Canada and Croatia. The best part of my Taekwondo journey so far has been meeting all of the amazing people that are like my second family. As well as competing and training, I really enjoy helping to teach at the Rugby and Kenilworth clubs and I am very proud of everyone who trains with us. In particular, I love teaching the younger age groups and seeing them grow and develop as people. I cannot thank Mr Carter enough for everything that he has done for me over the years and I am proud to say that he is much more than just an instructor for me- he is a great mentor, inspiration and friend. Thank you everyone at P4TKD, I hope that there are many more enjoyable years to come.

Thank you Anjali for your insight.

FRIENDS FOR LIFE

Mr Carter

Hmm not much to say about Anjali the Axe to be honest, but hope to some up in three words.

Proud, Proud, proud.

I could write a book on Anjali, as no one see the other side of when students are down and fed up in life things not going ok at school work, or in general in life. Anjali is very good at saying I am ok or always putting on a brave face.It has been a fantastic journey with Anjali and long may it continue if I still got the energy!.

I still remember Anjali in class lol Anjali what you doing Anjali no Anjali Anjali Anjali . But if we stick with things and persevere then we become good in the end, in the case of the Axe Lady.

Anjali started comp late and said I wanna do a comp I gave the funny Mr Carter look and said are you sure. From that day Anjali never looked back and has been awesome ever since and still lots to learn. Again in the club to be the best you need to be a all rounder in TKD Martial artist.

I got Anjali to help at a young age as I knew I could train to be a good instructor which also later in life helps with talking to people. Was it easy at first? your thinking what was Anjali like with the young team of Jack and clogs. ( please ask her)

We had so much fun and laughs on the way to class and back, I could go on for ever so much.

Do not worry I won’t embarras you on here were wait to back at class!

Seriously thou keep up the good work and all the advice and pushing over the years sets you life. I will always treat my students like there me own, the best I can and always there for them,.

Mr Carter
